    RISK PROFILE and CODE OF CONDUCT

    Guests make use of the facilities of Idol@47 B&B entirely at their own risk. It is agreed that all signs, notices and warnings will be adhered to.

    ACCOUNTING PROFILE

    A 50% deposit is payable within 48 hours to confirm the booking.   Account must be settled in full on arrival.

    The account remains the responsibility of the guest until full payment has been received; even though the guest may have incurred the charges on his account in the course/scope of his employment/service to any company, business or person.

    CHILD POLICY

    Accommodation for children under 12 must be pre-arranged with owner/manager.  Parents take full responsibility for the actions of their minors and agree to the risk profile

    CANCELLATION POLICY

    All cancellations must be done in writing.

    In terms of Chapter 2, Section 1 of the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008, Idol@47 is committed to best practice and as such has aligned its refunds policy to be in line with the Consumer Protection Act. (Section 17, subsection 3 (b); 4(a-d))

    Should the guest wish to cancel his/her reservation, the following will apply:

    Less than 3 days or no show – 100% of booking amount
    3 - 7 days – 50% of booking amount
    9 - 13  days prior to arrival -  50% of deposit amount
    14 - 29 days prior to arrival – 25% of deposit amount
    30 days and more – no charge

     

    Please note that long term bookings require at least one calendar month notice.
